Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all industrial equipment in our facility. Your primary duty will involve ensuring the smooth operation of conveyor lines handling green beans and bell peppers. You will also assist the maintenance manager with the installation of preventive maintenance programs throughout the facility, aiming to keep production machinery, including conveyor systems, running with minimal downtime. Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on all industrial equipment within the facility. Ensure conveyor lines for green beans and bell peppers operate smoothly. Assist with the installation of preventive maintenance programs. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase motors. Maintain production machinery to minimize downtime. Essential Skills Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance repair. Experience in repairing conveyor systems and working with electrical systems up to 480 volts. Expertise in PLC troubleshooting and electrical maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in machine repair, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Fabrication skills and ability to read schematics, blueprints, and perform preventive maintenance. Why Work Here? The plant maintains a temperature of 40 degrees, so dress warmly in a coat and gloves. Company uniforms are provided after the first month. Be prepared for a busy season, particularly around Thanksgiving, where you may work 55-60 hour weeks. Initial shifts may extend to 10-12 hours until staffing is complete.
