In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. Duties Conduct regular inspections of machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose problems accurately and execute precise repairs. Troubleshoot complex equipment failures using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools; replace or repair faulty components as needed. Assist with construction or renovation projects by supporting installation tasks and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Collaborate with team members and lead initiatives to improve maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and operational efficiency. Skills Strong appliance repair capabilities with experience servicing various household or industrial appliances. Proven service technician experience in maintaining HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, or mechanical equipment. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex systems effectively. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigerants. Mechanical aptitude combined with construction experience for installing or repairing diverse equipment. Familiarity with electrical wiring, circuit diagrams, and basic electrical troubleshooting techniques. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior technicians and support team collaboration in maintenance projects.
