Job Description
Job description: Job Overview Perform routine maintenance of multi-family housing units, such as inspecting boilers, hot water heaters and furnaces, unplugging drains, installing faucets, painting and repairing drywall, installing flooring, and repairing apartments to make rent ready. Additional duties include repairing equipment and diagnosing mechanical problems, repairing windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall or other parts of building structures. Will also provide grounds keeping services. Must be able to use a ladder and lift 50 pounds. Must be able to pass a background check. Must have drivers license and own transportation for travel to and from Complexes. Responsibilities Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.) Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
