Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your expertise keeps our property running smoothly and ensures an exceptional guest experience. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our hotel facilities. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance knowledge in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), plumbing, lighting, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct welding repairs and residential painting to maintain the aesthetic quality of the property. Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults accurately. Manage facilities maintenance tasks including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) updates, work order completion, and inventory management. Supervise or assist with projects involving manufacturing or large-scale repairs, ensuring safety standards are met. Oversee subcontractors or team members during maintenance projects while ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks for compliance purposes. Respond promptly to guest requests or emergency situations to minimize disruption and uphold service excellence. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential environment is preferred. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, PLC programming, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for repair and aesthetic improvements. Mechanical knowledge covering HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting fixtures, and general building systems. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and guests. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams or projects confidently. Ability to interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately. Experience using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment essential for troubleshooting electrical issues. Pay:
$15.50 - $17.00 per hour
