ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

► Perform daily cleanings of the warehouse floors and lab spaces, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash & recycling removal ► Operate floor care equipment and other maintenance tools safely and effectively ► Conduct routine inspections of both facilities to identify maintenance needs in collaboration with the Facilities Manager ► Perform minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing door hardware, basic plumbing tasks) as needed ► Coordinate communication and scheduling with external vendors for larger repairs or specialized services, overseeing all facility projects and providing timely status updates to the team ► Assist with receiving, moving, and organizing facility-related equipment, furniture, and materials ► Assist with preventive maintenance activities on warehouse equipment ► Keep accurate records of logs and schedules for planned equipment maintenance ► Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, following all standard operating procedures and having a safety-first mindset at all times ► Perform other general facilities and maintenance duties as assigned The ideal candidate will demonstrate: ► Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices and preventative maintenance procedures ► Strong attention to detail and time management skills ► Comfortability with switching between different tasks and adapting to changing priorities throughout the work week ► Ability to work independently with minimal supervision ► Great work ethic and regular, reliable attendance

QUALIFICATIONS

► High school diploma or equivalent required ► 1-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, or a related field ► Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, climbing)

CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION

► This position is full-time (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm) and is located in Grand Rapids, MI ► This position is paid hourly and is non-exempt. The pay range varies depending on skills, abilities, and length of service with the company
