We specialize in wheel and tire assembly and deliver sequenced products directly to our OEM customers. Our Hazel Park, Michigan plant is growing, and we are seeking a Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Electro-Mechanical Technician plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing automated equipment and systems within the tire and wheel sub-assembly process. This position combines advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to support and program PLCs, sensors, and robotics. Working closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams, the Electro-Mechanical Technician ensures that all equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex control system issues, performing advanced repairs, and assisting with the integration of new automation technologies. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem-solver with strong technical aptitude and a mindset for continuous improvement.

2nd shift
Education & Experience:
1. High school diploma or general education degree. 2. Post-secondary education in a technical field is strongly preferred. 3. Good oral and written communication skills. 4. Four years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and industrial skills. 5. An assessment test or apprenticeship program certificate and/or diploma in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial or similar) is required. 6. Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC controllers. 7. Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, AC & DC drives and associated control systems in an industrial environment. 8. Ability to work well without supervision.

From $33.48 per hour
