We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices problems before they become larger issues, and can complete repairs efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the hotel Diagnose and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and mechanical issues Maintain guest rooms, including toilets, faucets, sinks, lighting, furniture, doors, locks, televisions, and HVAC units Complete drywall repair, painting, caulking, and other cosmetic work Inspect equipment and building areas to identify maintenance needs Respond promptly and professionally to guest-room maintenance requests Maintain the pool area and assist with routine pool testing and maintenance Coordinate with management and outside contractors when specialized repairs are required Maintain organized maintenance records, tools, parts, and supply inventory Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean work areas Perform exterior upkeep, including minor landscaping, snow removal, and parking-lot inspections when needed Qualifications Previous hotel, apartment, commercial-building, or facilities-maintenance experience preferred General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs without constant supervision Reliable attendance and strong time-management skills Professional appearance and respectful communication with guests and employees Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and safely use ladders, tools, and maintenance equipment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Pool-maintenance or CPO certification is a plus but not required Benefits Deeply discounted health insurance Deeply discounted dental insurance Deeply discounted vision insurance Life insurance Disability insurance 401(k) Employee hotel discounts Consistent full-time work Opportunity for long-term growth
