Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration appliances, and other mechanical equipment to minimize downtime. Read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement repairs. Conduct service technician tasks such as replacing parts, calibrating systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Lead small maintenance projects or assist with construction-related tasks as needed to improve facility infrastructure. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to ensure continuous operation of critical systems. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration appliances is essential. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with construction practices related to building upgrades or renovations is a plus. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
