Shift Pay:

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our blow molding operations and help keep our equipment running at peak performance. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the development, optimization, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of blow molding equipment and supporting systems to achieve maximum operating efficiency. This role performs both preventative and corrective maintenance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. Essential Responsibilities Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and work procedures Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on blow molding machines and supporting equipment, including robotics Set up and adjust tooling, presses, conveying systems, and related equipment Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and production equipment in a timely manner Use precision measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, and micrometers Support and train employees on proper safety, quality, and operating procedures Optimize equipment performance to meet or exceed production KPIs Support cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality standards Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost Understand and operate within machine controller code and equipment systems Document process controls and support process improvements Update technical knowledge through ongoing training and educational opportunities Support varying schedules and on-call needs as required to meet production goals Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of experience operating and adjusting blow molding machines Skills & Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and pneumatics Ability to manage processes, analyze information, and meet deadlines Ability to enter and retrieve information within an ERP system Basic computer skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling Ability to perform repetitive motions such as reaching and grasping Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Comfortable working in warehouse conditions with varying temperatures If you are a mechanically skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply and grow your career with H.D.
