- + 36 hours per week + 7p-7:30a, Nights + Weekends and holidays to be scheduled in accordance with CBA.
Position Summary:
- The Monitor Support Specialist —also known as a Cardiac Monitor Tech or Telemetry Tech—plays a key role in supporting patient care by performing a range of clinical and administrative tasks.
- What the Monitor Support Specialist will need:
- + High school graduation required. + Basic EKG class and monitor orientation required. + Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations to complete necessary patient record documentation. + Current BCLS Certificate. + Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or push or pull up to 20 pounds.
- What the Monitor Support Specialist will do:
- + Records telemetry strip and reports any abnormalities.
