Through a wide variety of converting technologies, we offer a diversity of products, ranging from simple die cut tapes, seals, and gaskets, to fully assembled sub-components. We utilize over 250 different raw materials, used for Attachment, Buzz, Squeak and Rattle / NVH, EMI Shielding, Fastening, Gasketing and Sealing, Labeling, Printing & Identification, Masking, Safety, Surface Protection, and Wind Noise / Sound Dampening.
What we need:
The Maintenance Technician manages and assists in the completion of day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the building, production equipment, grounds keeping, and overall facility maintenance at two building locations, Plymouth and Westland. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. What you'll do:
Safety Adherence:
Following OSHA standards, Lock out tag out, and HAZCOM.
  • The Maintenance Technician must be willing to become proficient in electrical, mechanical and control systems.
  • Monitor and continually improve maintenance processes.
  • Update maintenance documentation as required to reflect vendor requirements.
  • Execute maintenance preventative procedures as scheduled and planned.
  • Support the maintenance department when 3rd parties are engaged in maintenance.
  • Execute corrective maintenance procedures when plant machinery or building equipment has failed.
  • Schedule repairs for faulty equipment or damaged structures.
  • Perform general maintenance of the facility and grounds.
  • Analyze root causes of equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain rapport with manufacturing personnel. What you'll need:
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
o Identifying faults in systems by reviewing ladder logic, function blocks, and structured text.
  • Work with OEM machine technicians to assist with press trouble shooting and repair.
System Repair:
o Repairing or replacing electronic components such as VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), sensors, relays, contactors, and industrial motors.
    Software Proficiency:
    Experience with major platforms like Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation (Studio 5000) or Siemens TIA Portal. o
    Schematic Interpretation:
    Ability to read detailed electrical blueprints, and wiring schematics.
      Electrical Safety:
      o Mastery of safety standards including NFPA 70E and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.

      • PLEX experience extremely beneficial

      • High School Diploma or GED minimum, Technical Degree or Equivalent preferred Interpersonal skills:
      • Ability to work with other maintenance and production personnel.
      • Experience with software systems that track maintenance activities.

      $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
