Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyman/Remodeling Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and remodeling tasks to enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Execute repair and maintenance tasks across various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and masonry. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately complete remodeling projects. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and fixture installation. Perform construction site inspections to ensure safety compliance and project quality standards are met. Manage demolition, concrete forming, stucco application, roofing repairs, and restoration work as needed. Fabricate custom components or modifications using welding, fabrication techniques, or heavy equipment operation when required. Install doors, cabinets, glass panels, trim carpentry elements, hardware fixtures, and other remodeling components with precision. Apply caulking, plastering, painting, and finishing techniques to achieve polished results. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics. Extensive experience with construction management principles and estimating processes. Skilled in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring (including schematics), roofing methods, masonry, concrete finishing, and tile installation. Ability to perform construction inspection to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Experience with restoration projects including drywall repair, plastering, stucco application, hardscape installation, and general remodeling. Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly on-site.
