We are currently seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The right candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance of an apartment community, including all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance. The Maintenance Technician must be able to complete all service requests related to the general upkeep of the property in a timely and professional manner.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and efficiently completing work orders including but not limited to plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and touch up painting & unit turns. Essential Responsibilities Conducting oneself in a professional manner as a company representative, demonstrating sound judgment and conduct. Ensuring the quality and quantity of work; always maintaining high standards. Meeting service request deadlines. Turn vacant apartments for occupancy, ensure repairs are timely, prioritizing units ready for occupancy Additional duties as assigned by
Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with residents, co-workers, and vendors Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Experience with windows, doors, appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, door locks replacements, as well as carpentry, drywall, caulking and painting. Some minor electrical and plumbing experience required. HVAC experience is required. EPA certification preferred Participation in a 7-day rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency calls Must possess a dependable means of transportation, valid driver's license, & tools. This position requires you to enter occupied units; therefore, employees are required to be honest and trustworthy with a satisfactory background. Equal Opportunity Employer / Drug Free Workplace.
