$21-$30/hr A growing multifamily company is seeking an experienced and reliable Floating Maintenance Technician to support multiple apartment communities in the Southgate, MI area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional looking to join a stable team with consistent work, strong leadership, and opportunity for long-term growth. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, responds quickly to maintenance needs, and understands the importance of providing excellent service to residents while maintaining high community standards. What You'll Do Complete apartment turns and make-readies efficiently and professionally Respond to resident service requests in a timely manner Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, appliances, and general maintenance issues Assist with preventative maintenance and daily property operations Diagnose HVAC-related issues and coordinate with vendors when needed Maintain curb appeal and ensure communities remain clean, safe, and operational Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and onsite teams Float between nearby multifamily communities as operational needs require What We're Looking For Previous multifamily maintenance experience required Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in general apartment maintenance Experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and appliance repair HVAC diagnostic experience preferred EPA certification preferred, but not required Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Why Apply?
