Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This dynamic role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and supervisory experience to support our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components to identify potential issues early. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical wiring, and plumbing fixtures. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and execute effective solutions. Lead small maintenance teams or supervise contractors during complex repair projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are maintained. Manage maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and service history. Execute residential painting, welding, or carpentry tasks as needed to restore or improve property aesthetics. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by properly using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other diagnostic equipment while maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential setting; supervisory experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in welding, electrical work, plumbing, and general repairs. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems including PLCs. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical testing. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination with team members and vendors. Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to supervise maintenance staff or contractors efficiently.
