Maintenance Technician PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a manufacturing company in Vanderbilt that is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technicians for 1st and 2nd shift openings. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, troubleshooting machinery issues, and supporting overall facility maintenance operations. This is a great opportunity for candidates with maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing experience who enjoy hands-on problem-solving and working in a fast-paced industrial environment. What You'll Be Doing Observe and troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues Repair and replace defective machine parts and components Adjust functional machine parts and control instruments as needed Lubricate, clean, and test machinery performance Assist with preventive maintenance on production equipment Install special functional and structural machine components Repair electrical equipment and support machinery setup Maintain and repair building plumbing and electrical systems Perform facility maintenance including cleaning, repairs, and grounds upkeep Assist with snow removal and outdoor maintenance tasks Read work orders and follow verbal or written instructions from supervisors Support other departments with moving equipment, supplies, or materials as needed What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required 1-3 years of maintenance or related experience preferred Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience desirable Ability to troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues Experience with workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements Ability to read blueprints or electrical diagrams preferred Good oral and written communication skills Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed Valid Driver's License required Why You'll Like This Job Competitive starting pay based on experience 1st and 2nd shift availability Hands-on work with variety in daily tasks Opportunity to build maintenance and troubleshooting skills Stable manufacturing environment Team-focused workplace culture Opportunity for growth within maintenance and manufacturing operations Real Talk (So You Know What to Expect) This position involves physical, hands-on work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
