Full Job Description Industrial Maintenance Technicians Needed Location:
Wixom, MI Shifts Available:
1stShift:
6:00 AM- 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay Rate:
$25-30/hour (BOE) Express Employment Professionals- Skilled Trade Division is hiring Maintenance Technicians for leading manufacturers specializing in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including conveyors, robotics, and other industrial equipment. Rehome/reset robotic systems and troubleshoot using PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley). Perform welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Arc) and lathe work when required. Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures. Install, test, and maintain electrical panels, wiring, sensors, relays, VFDs, and vision systems (Cognex). Support robotic automation, including Kuka, Fanuc, Epson, and Mitsubishi systems. Assist in the installation of new robotic cells and material-handling automation. Maintain roof vents, plumbing, fixtures, HVAC, and perform basic building repairs. Follow Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and adhere to all safety and compliance regulations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.Qualifications:
Industrial Maintenance Experience- Minimum 3-5 years in manufacturing maintenance OR completion of a mechatronics vocational program. PLC & Robotics Knowledge
- Familiarity with Siemens & Allen Bradley PLCs and robotic systems (Kuka, Fanuc, Epson, Mitsubishi preferred) Mechanical & Electrical Skills
- Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, servo motors, gearboxes, and automation systems. Welding & Fabrication
- Hands-on MIG, TIG, Arc welding experience with ability to fabricate machine components (preferred). Technical Problem-Solving
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot complex industrial systems. Computer Skills
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CMMS systems. Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
