Maintenance Technician Level 1

KS Property Maintenance is looking to expand its team. The maintenance technician will be responsible for keeping condominium and homeowners' associations' facilities operating efficiently and repairing any problems when they are discovered. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task, possess strong customer service skills, and be able to perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of the community. Tasks can include general knowledge of plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, painting, drywall repairs, exterior building repairs, and minor roofing repairs.

Position Requirements:

Ability to climb ladders to heights exceeding 15 feet. Capability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and bend continuously throughout the work shift. Must possess a valid driver's license and a current DOT card. Availability to work a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to emergencies. Must own a personal set of various tools. Proficiency in plumbing, electrical wiring, and carpentry. Experience with external repairs, including roof repairs, siding repair/replacement, and gutter repair/replacement. Skilled in drywall installation, replacement, and repair. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in a maintenance environment or similar position.
