MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

$1,000 hiring bonus - $500 paid after 6 months and $500 paid after 12 months! Permanent Full-Time Position

DESCRIPTION

The Jim-Bern Company is looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with Multi Housing Industry experience to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with the Property Manager and other employees to take excellent care of our Townhome Community. This job description sets forth the principal responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician but does not detail every specific part of the job. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Work Orders - respond to maintenance requests from tenant's repair items in timely manner.
• Respond to on call after hours maintenance issues.
• Vacant unit turn-over maintenance.
• Snow and ice removal.
• General grounds maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance procedures.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

Solid organization skills. Detail oriented.

Knowledge and experience troubleshooting/repair:

Minor HVAC Plumbing Carpentry/Drywall Appliance Minor Electrical

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliability.

Must have valid Minnesota Driver License. High school diploma or equivalent required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

You must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to, walking the entire property, climbing 2 flights of stairs to show units, lifting a minimum of 25 pounds, and using the hand and power tools.

$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
