Building Maintenance Mechanic 1st Shift - $30-$40 Job Description The Building Maintenance/HVAC Technician is responsible for efficiently maintaining all HVAC equipment and infrastructure at the EP campus. This role also supports ancillary equipment used in the production and sanitation process in RTE. Responsibilities Check pressures and temperatures, change lightbulbs in production and office, and maintain the generator. Repair physical structures and equipment using industry standards and collaborate with other departments as needed. Work with other departments to ensure timely completion of repairs. Complete all required paperwork for Production and the department accurately. Conduct daily PM Walk Throughs and maintain the maintenance board and parts checkout sheet. Enter and complete assigned work orders and other documentation as required. Demonstrate a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Follow safety rules, wear necessary Personal Protection Equipment, and complete mandatory quarterly safety training. Manage time effectively and perform self-directed work. Collaborate with outside vendors to improve processes. Learn the location and layout of all facility equipment across the site. Maintain and repair building and grounds, including plumbing, painting, furniture moving, and snow/ice removal. Display advanced mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities. Build PM procedures for all building/HVAC equipment and complete Work Orders in CMMS. Participate in Continuous Improvement/LEAN program and new equipment design/install projects. Understand SQF Level 3, regulatory requirements, HACCP Plans, and GMPs to protect food safety and quality. Provide training and support to Technicians and collaborate positively with co-workers.
