A day in the life:

The Lead Floor Tech will oversee and perform the cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of all hard surfaces and carpeted floors within the facility. This role involves leading a team, ensuring quality floor care services, and operating specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member Deliver high-quality service and professionalism, upholding the standards and integrity of the Environmental Services Department Clean, maintain, and care for a variety of floor types, including tile, carpet, and brick Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule Follow established procedures for the correct use of cleaning chemicals and supplies Operate, maintain, and care for floor cleaning equipment safely and properly Consistently observe safety protocols, including the use of "wet floor" signs and other precautions Work independently with minimal supervision Promptly report any safety hazards or concerns What you'll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member Minimum of (2) years' experience and Supervisory experience Must know how to Strip, Refinish and Burnish Hard Floors Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions Reliable transportation A valid Driver's License with good driving record may be required The Harvard Promise Join our team of Extraordinary People committed to delivering Exceptional Service.
