Direct Hire | Full-time About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a food manufacturing company in St. Peter, MN. In this role, you'll help keep production running smoothly by maintaining and repairing equipment while supporting a safe, high-quality food production environment. Maintenance Technician:
Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on production and packaging equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests on the production floor Assist with installation, setup, and startup of new machinery Maintain accurate maintenance logs, parts usage, and repair records Support plant utilities including HVAC, compressed air, and water systems Ensure all work meets safety, food safety, and quality standards What You Need to Bring to the
Maintenance Technician Role:
High school diploma or GED required At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (food or manufacturing preferred) Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 3-4 day schedule Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work (standing, bending, climbing) Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 14 days Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (Spanish is a plus) Experience with GMPs, food safety, and OSHA standards preferred Ready to Apply?
