Job Description
Duties include various daily, weekly, and monthly tasks in and around the hotel. This position is a Monday-Friday 8:30am until 12:30pm sometimes longer depending on the tasks that day. Applicant MUST be willing to be on call evenings and weekends for emergency maintenance issues. Previous knowledge of the following is preferred. Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building Grounds keeping on all outdoor areas in need of maintenance. This does include shoveling in the winter. Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or guests of the building in a pleasant manner Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked Pool operator experience a plus but will train the right person Physical stamina to handle a shift of being active and working on the building and grounds
