Maintenance Staff/ handyman for Hotel

Header Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation and safety of our hospitality environment. Your proactive approach and leadership skills will drive efficient problem-solving and uphold the highest standards of facilities maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals; utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated systems management and troubleshooting. Residential painting, and other handyman tasks to maintain the property's appearance and safety standards. Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with vendors or contractors when necessary, and oversee team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain accurate records of work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking repairs, inspections, and inventory. Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with excellent customer service, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Skilled in electrical work, including reading schematics and working with electrical components; familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is preferred. Hands-on experience with welding, residential painting, and general handyman tasks. Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics; experience with CMMS software is a plus. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques; experience with Ohmmeters for electrical testing is desirable.

Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
