Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently. Repair or replace faulty components on appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment with precision and attention to detail. Conduct troubleshooting for air conditioning systems, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring maintenance standards are met during upgrades or installations. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or projects to ensure timely completion and safety adherence. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Knowledge of HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration technology, and related mechanical components. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Construction or building maintenance experience is a plus, along with leadership skills for guiding team efforts when needed. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward identifying issues before they escalate.
