Food Manufacturing About the Role A growing food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production operations during the night shift. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, completing repairs, supporting equipment upgrades, and ensuring manufacturing equipment operates safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures. Support production by assisting machine operators and minimizing downtime. Complete equipment upgrades, modifications, installations, and maintenance projects. Conduct root cause investigations and document corrective actions. Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and HACCP requirements. Read and interpret equipment drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Support facility utilities and production support systems. Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures. Adapt to changing production priorities and maintenance needs. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and respond effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Preferred Technical school certification, technical degree, or equivalent maintenance training. Food manufacturing maintenance experience. Welding and mechanical power transmission experience. Experience supporting facility utilities and production support equipment. Refrigeration and/or ammonia refrigeration experience or training. Two-year technical degree in a maintenance-related field. 10+ years of maintenance mechanic or related industrial maintenance experience. Work Environment Food manufacturing facility with automated production equipment. Fast-paced environment requiring strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills. Exposure to production machinery, utilities, and facility support systems. Night shift role supporting continuous manufacturing operations.
