Skilled Maintenance Technician

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Plant Facilities! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Department:

CMH Plant Facilities is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all plant facilities, including equipment, infrastructure, utilities, and grounds. This role ensures that systems operate efficiently and safely to support uninterrupted plant operations.

A typical day includes:

Assembling, installing, and / or repairing items based on specifications supplied via work order, referring concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor for action. Provides general maintenance assistance when possible at the direction of the supervisor. Performing and servicing electrical panels, kitchen equipment, heating and cooling systems, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical equipment as ability and education permits. Requisitions supplies, clearly designating items needed, the department for which they will be charged, and reporting anticipated costs associated with the material and labor to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Education:

HS diploma or equivalence (GED)

Experience:

Preferred Five years experience in electrical and refrigeration service trade

Skills:

organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking
