- Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and improving the functionality and appearance of our facilities.
In this role, you will perform a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across various areas, ensuring that our environment remains safe, efficient, and welcoming. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us uphold high standards of property upkeep and customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and other structural elements Install fixtures, appliances, furniture, and hardware as required for renovations or upgrades Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants to resolve issues efficiently Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after repairs to ensure safety and professionalism Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules for future reference Collaborate with property managers or team members to plan preventative maintenance projects Experience Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role with a broad skill set in repairs and installations Knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing systems, carpentry techniques, and general building maintenance Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting work activities Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on project status Valid driver's license preferred for transportation between sites or procurement of supplies Join us in creating a safe, functional environment where everyone feels comfortable!
