Custom Automated Plastic Systems®, known as C.A.P.S., Inc., is the industry leader in designing and manufacturing injection molded dispensing closures and custom plastic packaging. Founded in 1981, C.A.P.S. Inc. is celebrating over 40 years of success in the plastics industry. As we continue to grow as a company, we have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician at our Bridgeton facility. Job Duties Perform preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, and changeovers on many types of production equipment including those listed below: Liner machines Assemblers Injection molding machines Yushin robots Cap closing cells CBW packing machines Cooling towers Sprue pickers Perform simple maintenance on the following: Air compressors Rooftop units Chillers Hoists Perform inspections on the following: Fire extinguishers Emergency lights Job Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Familiar with hand tools Able to handle moderate physical demands Not afraid of heights up to 30 feet and able to work from a ladder or lift Able to work independently and as a team Effectively communicate both written and verbally Must have or be able to obtain a Class E driver's license in 30 days Must be forklift certified or become certified within 30 days Basic computer skills Attention to detail
