Commercial Window Cleaning Floor Scrubbing Floor Stripping & Waxing Carpet Cleaning VCT Floor Maintenance Specialty Floor Care Projects Position Overview The Specialty Services Lead will be responsible for performing specialty service work, leading projects, training team members, conducting site assessments, preparing estimates, and identifying opportunities to grow the division. This is a hands-on leadership role. The ideal candidate has strong technical experience in floor care and window cleaning and takes pride in delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities Operations Perform commercial window cleaning services. Perform carpet cleaning and extraction services. Lead floor scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and refinishing projects. Operate and maintain specialty equipment. Ensure all projects are completed safely and to Blue Oak quality standards. Conduct post-job inspections and quality checks. Train and mentor specialty service technicians. Sales & Business Development Conduct customer walkthroughs and site assessments. Measure and estimate window cleaning, carpet cleaning, and floor care projects. Identify additional service opportunities at customer locations. Build relationships with facility managers and decision makers. Assist in generating new specialty service opportunities throughout the Kansas City metro area. Leadership Lead specialty service crews during evening and weekend projects. Maintain project schedules and equipment readiness. Communicate effectively with customers and management. Uphold Blue Oak's culture, core values, and quality standards. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of commercial floor care experience. Experience with stripping and waxing VCT floors. Experience operating auto scrubbers, burnishers, and floor machines. Commercial window cleaning experience preferred. Carpet cleaning experience preferred. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends as projects require. Leadership experience preferred.
