The purpose of this job is to perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled mechanical, structural, maintenance, and repair of equipment, facilities, and grounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description Performs electrical and plumbing work: installs and replaces fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring; and repairs faucets, commodes, water heaters, and valves. Conducts preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, plumbing, and electrical fixtures. Operates a wide variety of light, medium, and heavy equipment associated with the construction trades. Reconstructs and repairs pavement on the airfield, sidewalks, and roads. Mows public and airfield areas. Maintains detailed and accurate records. Provides customer service to patrons. Removes snow and ice from the runway and taxiways. Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function. Performs other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory authority. - An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate or technical degree in a related field preferred. 1 to 3 years of experience with electrical, HVAC, and large equipment operation. Licenses or Certifications Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no air brake restriction within 6 months of hire. Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification.
