Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your expertise keeps our property running smoothly and ensures an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the hotel, troubleshooting issues promptly, and supporting a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and building infrastructure using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct welding, residential painting, and other repair tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal and safety of the property. Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults accurately. Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with vendors or contractors, and ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Lead facilities maintenance initiatives, including supervising team members when applicable, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and improving operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within a hospitality or residential setting. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; ability to read schematics is essential. Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general repair work. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools used in electrical troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Supervising experience or leadership skills that enable effective team management and project oversight. Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
