Responsibilities of Maintenance Mechanic:

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, and processing equipment Perform preventative maintenance including computerized PM checks and monitoring equipment data Troubleshoot issues and complete emergency repairs during equipment breakdowns Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders Maintain and support manufacturing systems including utility systems (steam, cooling, electrical, gas, air, etc.) Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment to complete repairs Communicate effectively with departments and management regarding equipment issues affecting production Complete required maintenance documentation accurately and in accordance with SOPs Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and confined space safety

Requirements of Maintenance Mechanic:

High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Comfortable working in varying temperatures, wet environments, and moderate to high noise levels Must follow all safety and PPE requirements at all times Must meet requirements of background and drug screening policies Who is HireLevel?
