Role Summary The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative and ad-hoc maintenance on a variety of machines within a production facility under supervision from subject matter experts and facility leadership. This position will be responsible for building a detailed understanding of assigned equipment to safety and efficiently support repairs. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Follows directions and refers all exceptions to supervisor.

Maintenance Technician 2 Key Role Responsibilities - Core Reviews schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documentation to determine maintenance and repair needs Repairs or replaces worn or broker parts within machinery if necessary Follows all manufacturers specified and internal safety guidelines Performs repairs in a timely and efficient manner to minimize impact on production operations Collaborates with Production Team to diagnose performance issues with machinery Understands production processes and material flows Updates maintenance documentation accurately to ensure maintenance schedules are followed Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core N/A Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner Communication skills, verbal and written Ability to follow-up on inquiries in a timely manner Ability to identify common manufacturing materials and equipment Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, both internally and externally Education High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) Apprentice and/or Vocational/Technical/Trade training (Preferred) In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Experience 0-2 years' experience conducting repairs, maintenance or installation of manufacturing equipment in an actively operating manufacturing environment (Required) Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop (Required) Experience conducting repairs on complex machinery (Preferred) Working Environment Must be able to lift at least to 50 pounds May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold) Maintenance facility environment, may be exposed to varying temperatures, moving equipment, noise and exhaust fumes Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs May require working overtime as needed Must have reliable transportation May require use of respirator Must be comfortable working at projected heights and narrow workspace Frequent activity: Standing, Walking, Climbing, Bending, Kneeling, Carrying, Swinging, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling, Balancing Occasional activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen Benefits Information The benefits package aligned to this position is Professional Non-Union.
