Full Job Description Maintenance Technician Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with Best Western schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Fabricate or repair parts as needed using various tools and equipment.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of other maintenance staff when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report to general manager.
• Be a team player and work well with others.

Skills:

• Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Professional training is preferred in at least one of these areas.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and management.
