As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the physical condition of our community and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for our residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
What You'll Do:
Completing Repairs and Service Requests:
Efficiently and thoroughly address resident maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.Preventative Maintenance:
Proactively maintain equipment and systems according to schedules and manufacturer guidelines.General Maintenance and Repairs:
Diagnose and perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and more.Community Upkeep:
Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the community, including grounds, buildings, and common areas.Record Keeping:
Accurately document maintenance activities, inventory, and other relevant information.Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety procedures, fair housing laws, and company policies.What You'll Bring:
Technical Expertise:
Proven skills in various maintenance areas, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair. Attention toDetail:
A commitment to accuracy, thoroughness, and quality workmanship.Problem-Solving Skills:
The ability to diagnose issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions.Organizational Skills:
Efficiently manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain a well-organized work area.Dependability and Reliability:
Consistently meet deadlines, follow instructions, and take ownership of responsibilities.Communication Skills:
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, team members, and vendors.Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance. EPA certification Type I and II. 2+ years of HVAC experience. CPO certification. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Business Suite and Entrata Property Management Software is a plus.Worcester Communities Values:
