Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the seamless functioning of our operations. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and other equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct inspections of electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC/R systems, and structural elements to identify potential issues early. Repair or replace defective parts, including motors, belts, filters, valves, and electrical components. Assist with construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and reporting purposes. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations to ensure safety standards are met. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately. Familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment is essential. Experience in construction or facility maintenance is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors during maintenance projects. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
