Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a Seasonal Roving Maintenance Technician. You'll work Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00 pm. This self- motivated individual will help make the team excel and have a strong desire to learn.

Job Summary:

The Roving Maintenance Technician will work to provide maintenance services to properties across several counties. The technician is part of a large team that is assigned work specified in daily work orders assigned by their supervisor. As a technician, this individual is always required maintain professionalism and follow company policies. Specific duties may vary depending upon assignment.

Position Type:

Hourly/ Full Time and will be temporarily relocated where needed: Moderate travel for this position requires you to have reliable transportation and the expectation to work at designated site is 100% of the time. Travel requirements for this position may change at any time. Year-Round work through travel and typically 5 plus nights per month. 20 to 50 miles radius typically around your home but could be 1000 plus miles depending on the task. Travel is planned out ahead of time, per diem, paid mileage, and if out of metro area, temporarily housing is provided. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent or general education degree (GED): or one to three months' related experience and/or training in a vocational environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient customer service and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with residents, clients, team members, and other business contacts. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices. Physical Demands/Work Environment Work is performed mainly outside, as well as some indoor work, and may involve hazards or physical risks. with exposure to paint fumes, solvents, adhesives, etc. Must be in good physical shape as the job entails lifting, climbing, kneeling, bending, crawling, and ladder work.
