Job Description

With good pay, extensive benefits, and a family atmosphere, we are looking for an individual to join the existing Preventative Maintenance team to service a variety of areas of within the resort.
Job Type:
Full Time Pay $ 16.00 per hour
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years of age Reports to: Chief Engineer, Engineering Department Must have a Class E Driver's License As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will perform a variety of routine tasks to help ensure the resort remains safe, functional, and well-maintained at all time. You may often be working in guest areas so a professional and thorough work ethic is required. Typical schedule will be Mon - Fri 8:00 - 4:30, but could include weekends on occasion.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with maintaining hotel guest rooms, meeting space, public / back of house areas, performing minor and routine maintenance activities as assigned on a routine checklist. Maintain standards of quality guest service. Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards. Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development. Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. Assist in logging and tracking all performed maintenance assignments with supervisors. Personal Skills Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. Ability to accurately report information. Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures. Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care. Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change. Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development. Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times. Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission. Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally. Actively listens to others. Must have a Missouri Class E driver's license. Must have good mathematical and computer skills. High school education and relevant training and experience preferred. Physical Requirements Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Hearing, writing, typing.
