Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong background in various maintenance tasks, including electrical work, mechanical repairs, and facilities upkeep. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for all occupants. A Chauffeurs license is preferred. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on residential properties to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize logic controllers and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance activities. Fabricate parts or components as needed to support repair efforts. Execute facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs. Use tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Supervise maintenance staff when required, providing leadership and guidance on best practices. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in residential painting and basic electrical systems. Familiarity with logic controllers and CMMS software is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fabricate solutions as necessary. Excellent leadership abilities, capable of supervising a team effectively. Must demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
