SEEKING DOOR AND HARDWARE INSTALLER

POSITION SUMMARY

The door and hardware installer is responsible for making services calls during normal business hours and emergency service calls during non-business hours. The individual will follow a pre-set schedule determined by a combination of the franchise owner, FlyLock Security Solutions call center and corporate office. The installer must have the ability to install, repair and maintain commercial and residential door hardware including cylinders; key and replace cores; deadbolts, entry knobs, strikes (manual and electric) and electronic deadbolts, electric keypad locks; exit/panic devices, mag locks and door closers; Knowledege of safe locks a plus; AAADM certification a plus. Measure accurately to order frames and doors, both metal and wooden; install, repair and maintain commercial and residential doors and frames and hinges, specifically Roton/continuous hinges.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum two years of door and door hardware experience Good communication and customer service skills Honest and reliable Self-directed - able to work independently with minimal supervision Solid analytical skills to research and resolve inquiries/issues Able to interact in a professional manner with customers and colleagues Able to complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time. Able to use smartphone and tablet device Basic mathematical skills Clean driving record and no accidents within the past three years Able to drive service van No criminal record and able to pass a background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50lbs. Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop Ability to reach above and below the shoulders Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull. Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground Withstand external weather conditions year-round.
