Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Garage Door Technician to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of garage doors and related hardware. Your expertise will ensure our customers' garage doora operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair garage doors, openers, springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and hardware components with precision and attention to safety standards Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete installations and repairs effectively Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately assemble and modify garage door systems Perform heavy lifting of doors and hardware during installation or repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols Conduct door hanging, frame carpentry, caulking, trim carpentry, locksmithing, and electrical work as needed Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components to meet specific customer requirements using construction site experience and mechanical knowledge Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate clearly with customers about service procedures and safety tips Experience Proven experience in construction-related roles such as remodeling, carpentry, or handyman work with a focus on door hanging and operator installation Hands-on experience with electrical systems, or schematics reading is highly desirable Familiarity with welding, fabrication techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting enhances your effectiveness in this role Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites or during installation projects Prior electrical experience or locksmithing background is a plus but not required; some training can be provided for specific technical skills Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to deliver top-quality service!
