Job Description

Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting continuous production by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position requires a strong electrical and mechanical experience and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, productive work environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipment. Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment including overhead cranes, roll formers, press brakes, and resistance welders. Assist with servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing more complex machinery and systems. Conduct preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance. Perform general facility maintenance and building repairs as needed. Maintain and service yard and shop equipment including forklifts, yard trucks, trailers, and company vehicles. Comply with all applicable safety regulations and actively support the department's safety programs and protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times. Accurately document maintenance activities and communicate equipment issues to leadership as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance; ability to work flexible schedules including overtime and weekends as required. The company culture promotes safety and has a close family feel. Training will occur on the 1st shift for a couple of weeks or months until the employee and manager feel ready to move to the 3rd shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.65 - $36.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
