Hotel Maintenance Technician- Grounds

Hotel Maintenance Tech (Suburban Extended Stay Hotel) Our hotel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for our on-site Engineering department. The successful candidate will be an individual with a dynamic and pleasant personality to join our team to perform a combination of tasks, which include (but not limited to) minor or major repairs to plumbing, drywall, painting, mechanical and electrical issues that may occur in the everyday operations of a hotel setting. Parking Lot rounds and other general maintenance/cleanliness duties are required to keep the property in tip-top shape. The individual must also be guest service oriented and have the ability to work in conjunction with other hotel staff in order to provide a superior guest experience. The candidate selected must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends included) and have their own transportation. The candidate must also have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and move items up to 100 lbs. The candidate must be able to complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks on time independently with limited supervision. This individual will work with the Lead Hotel Tech to accomplish team goals of ensuring that all equipment is in good condition and guest rooms exceed our guest's expectations. Prior experience in the maintenance field is required. Background investigation and drug testing are required.
