Position Summary:
This position maintains equipment, as well as, the facilities in the support of continuous operation while adhering to safety standards. Key Duties And Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities Complete preventative maintenance documentation Perform safety check of work area and equipment being utilized Respond to requests for general repairs to equipment and facilities Examine equipment and facilities to determine working condition and necessary maintenance Refer to technical manuals in the repair of equipment Operate equipment in the execution of assigned duties Perform electrical work as permitted per nationally recognized safety guidelines Education / Certifications Education Required High School Diploma or Equivalent Education Desired Technical Degree Skills & Experience Work Experience Required Minimum of 1-3 years' related experience required, 3-5 years preferred Additional Requirements Additional Job Requirements Minimum of two (2) years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing/production environment Minimum of two (2) years of electrical experience in a manufacturing facility Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits Experience with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics & pneumatics Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance Experience reading technical drawings and schematics Willing and able to work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed
