Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), and other building equipment to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and related mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform electrical repairs, including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and component replacements in accordance with safety standards. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring proper installation of equipment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure accurate documentation. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major maintenance or repair projects as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately. Mechanical knowledge of building systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, pumps, motors, and related machinery. Hands-on experience with equipment repair and maintenance in construction or industrial environments. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Leadership qualities with the capability to oversee maintenance projects or guide junior team members.
