Door Shop Technician Job Description As a Door Shop Technician, you will be responsible for assembling pre-fabricated doors to meet specific work order specifications. Your role will require you to accurately read a tape measurer to 1/16" and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. You will also be tasked with reviewing all finished goods to ensure accuracy and preparing finished orders for shipment. Responsibilities Assemble pre-fabricated doors according to work order specifications. Accurately read a tape measurer to 1/16". Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Review all finished goods for accuracy. Use power tools such as hand tools, mills, saws, and joiners. Use pneumatic tools such as nail guns. Collaborate with a team to create and build products. Prepare finished orders for shipment. Lift up to 60 lbs as needed. Essential Skills Experience in assembly and mechanical tasks. Proficiency in reading blueprints. Mechanical assembly skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ years of experience working with hand and power tools, including rulers or measuring tapes. 3+ years of steady employment. Work Environment This position involves working in a woodworking shop focused on building doors. The environment is hands-on and involves the use of various tools and equipment. Teamwork and precision are key, with a requirement to lift up to 60 lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belgrade, MT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
