Starting at $30/hour, depending on experience About Granite Mountain Countertops Granite Mountain Countertops (GMC) has been fabricating and installing premium stone countertops in the Gallatin Valley for years. We work with granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, and porcelain — for kitchens, bathrooms, fireplace surrounds, and commercial projects across southwest Montana. We're hiring an Installer to join our install crew. If you take pride in setting a perfect seam and walking out of a job that looks like it grew there, we want to talk. What You'll Do Load, transport, and install granite, quartz, and natural stone countertops in homes and businesses across the Gallatin Valley Level, shim, set, and seam slabs to factory-grade tolerances Install undermount and drop-in sinks, cooktops, faucets, and accessories Cut and dry-fit on-site as needed (small mods, plug cuts, etc.) Caulk, polish seams, and clean the install before final walk-through Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and designers Help maintain the shop, tools, vehicles, and install equipment What We're Looking For Experience preferred — countertop install, stone, tile, masonry, or finish trades all transfer well. We'll train the right person. Strong back and steady hands — slabs are heavy and unforgiving Comfortable lifting 100+ lbs as part of a 2- or 3-person crew Detail-oriented — a 1/16" seam matters here Valid driver's license and clean driving record (you'll be in our truck a lot) Customer-facing professionalism — you're the last person the client sees on the project Nice to Have Prior stone or solid-surface install experience Compensation & Benefits Starting at $30/hour, varies based on level of experience Paid by-weekly (twice a month) Paid time off and paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Company truck for business use during work hours (not for personal use) Year-round, indoor/outdoor mix — we don't shut down in the winter Why GMC You'll be installing the centerpieces of homes that show up on architecture covers — and you'll be doing it for owners who picked us because they care about getting it right.
