Maintenance Technician

Position Summary We're looking for a dependable, self-starting Property Maintenance Technician who takes ownership of their work and is always looking for ways to improve the property. This role is ideal for someone who doesn't wait to be told what's broken—they notice, prioritize, and fix things with safety, guest satisfaction, and cost in mind. You'll handle a mix of daily upkeep, troubleshooting guest room issues, and ongoing improvement projects. You'll also be part of a small, collaborative team where everyone pitches in when needed. What You'll Do Proactively identify maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement Respond to internal maintenance requests, including: Plumbing issues, HVAC troubleshooting, minor electrical fixes, guest room concerns, addressing pest-related observations appropriately Perform routine property upkeep: Trash removal and general grounds care, blowing/cleaning breezeways and sidewalks Complete ongoing projects such as: Painting and drywall repair, replacing PTAC units and smoke detectors Light grounds maintenance (mostly mowing) General room and property upgrades Coordinate with licensed vendors for specialized work when needed Be available on-call for urgent issues as required What We're Looking For General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and basic electrical work Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload Friendly, professional, and respectful with guests and teammates Reliable, punctual, and accountable Takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-kept appearance and workspace Flexible and willing to work a schedule based on property needs (not strictly 9-5) Compensation & Benefits Full-time opportunity for the right candidate Competitive pay based on experience Flexible scheduling Why This Role Matters You play a key role in the guest experience.
