Full time M-F 8-4:30. Work one weekend every 9 weeks, on call required. Maintenance Technician Glenaire is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with a mission to "honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of those we serve." We are looking for individuals with a strong skillset combined with a heart for service. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in our commitment to excellent care. Knowledge of boilers, compressors, and air conditioning, as well as various mechanical. Electrical and plumbing systems. Have patience, tact and a cheerful disposition, as well as the ability to deal with residents based on the maturity level on which they are functioning. Able to move intermittently throughout the work day. Two (2) years experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION
Perform preventive maintain on equipment such as pumps, engines, motors, air conditioning system, refrigeration system and so forth by repairing or replacing defective parts. Adjust, with electrical meters and other test equipment, functional parts of motors and control instruments. Clean and lubricate parts. Test equipment performance and record reading of tested equipment. Install limited plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical devices, refrigeration, air conditioning and other equipment. Work on rotation basis with other maintenance personnel for after hours and weekend emergencies. What's for You as a The Maintenance Tech?
